Every day there are issues with this site. They find new ways to tick their customers off.
After days of receiving "you have no hints" when there were over 1500 and having to refresh to bring them up; days of page not available, try again later or refresh, and a couple others, I decided to warn others to stay away. Especially after this message "We are currently unable to find the tree you are trying to access. We may be experiencing technical difficulties, or it is possible that the tree owner has removed this tree." Since I am the tree owner and I did not remove this tree...yeah you are showing how horrible your service is as you are once again experiencing technical difficulties. This is for a paid account!!!!
They are being paid to provide a working site, not one that has one issue after another. I have been with ancestry almost since their beginning. Stuck with them through a lot and until their last downgrade (sure wasn't an upgrade) when I cancelled my paid account. It was awful, and still is.
Nearly six months ago I decided to see if they had resolved any of their issues. No, it's only gotten worse. If you can't add hints to your tree, what good are they? When they can't find your tree, what good is a paid account?
Do Not waste your money. It used to be fairly decent, but it has steadily gone downhill.
They reached their peak a few years ago and hiked their prices and lowered their services. At the price they charge every month their site should never have daily issues.
