You erroneously setup an account with Ancestry.com for me. I did not wish to have an account setup.

I backout their information, erased information input my another family member when they were unauthorized to establish an account. Three years ago I tried the program to and had erroneous information on my family line, and was unable to cancel it no matter how hard I tried. After you took over $140 on my credit card account, I never received funds back for attempting every way possible to cancel.

I decided three years ago I will never have anything to do with Ancestry. Please do not try to establish an account, you will never receive a credit card number.

I want to cancel my subscription

i just want to cancel my free trial. I am well within the trial period and have gone to your website trying to cancel and be reimbursed with NO LUCK. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated! And yes, I am pissed!!

Ancestry's "customer service" and "tech support" are absolutely useless. It you have a problem, they're happy to either blame it on you or recite platitudes, but that's about all the action you'll ever get from them. I suggest filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

DNA results LOSS and put under an unknown email address

My husband s DNA results are back but the are showing y under some email address and we cannot access them. We have all the identifying information but for some reason his results did not show up under his email. Customer service has NOT been able to help, or refuse to problem solve this error

I have been going round in circles trying to cancel my subscription with no success. I don't even recollect joining. I can't log in as I have no log in- details,I really do need help but can't seem to find it.

No more details Ancestry lab tested the sample and told me it is invalid and to request a free one they were so kind as sent me to a link that was non responsive and caused me to waste 45 minutes. I am pissed.

Check on status of my account

When I discovered that my account was no longer active, I called Ancestry to find out what the status was. For some reason my last automatic payment from my bank had been on August 5th, 2022!

I was then switched to guest status. I was then informed of the Thanksgiving sale, which was only $59 for a 6-month subscription. I was thrilled to accept this price and set up for it to be billed to my bank account, as an automatic withdrawal. The agent I spoke to said that this was a 6-month only contract, and that I should contact Ancestry to find out if they have another special going towards the end of my contract.

However, as of today, my bank account has not been charged, and I am still listed as a guest on the website!

Can you please check this out and let me know if there is something wrong other than a delay in my order?

I spoke with Ancestry a few days ago and was informed of the special rate of $59 for a 6-month subscription, which I accepted and gave all my information, including payment instructions. I got this notice today about my account, so I went to confirm everything was up and ordering properly now. However, when I went online, I found I am STILL listed as a visiting GUEST! Please review my account to find what is going on, and when to expect it go again be a paid subscription. Thank you in advance, Debra Holdren

Very poor service

Hidden Charges for Free Trial

Tried to cancel my trial within 14 days on-line and it woldn't go through. Called customer service which was closed. So I paid for the first month and cancelled at my first opportunity within the following month. Somewhere, buried several layers into the promotion is some fine print on cancellation fees. Essentially Ancestry has made it possible to turn a free trial into a $60 charge. Intentional fraudulent practice on their part and I will share that information with everyone interested in "trying" this service.
