Cancel your setup account
You erroneously setup an account with Ancestry.com for me. I did not wish to have an account setup.
I backout their information, erased information input my another family member when they were unauthorized to establish an account. Three years ago I tried the program to and had erroneous information on my family line, and was unable to cancel it no matter how hard I tried. After you took over $140 on my credit card account, I never received funds back for attempting every way possible to cancel.
I decided three years ago I will never have anything to do with Ancestry. Please do not try to establish an account, you will never receive a credit card number.

Check on status of my account
When I discovered that my account was no longer active, I called Ancestry to find out what the status was. For some reason my last automatic payment from my bank had been on August 5th, 2022!
I was then switched to guest status. I was then informed of the Thanksgiving sale, which was only $59 for a 6-month subscription. I was thrilled to accept this price and set up for it to be billed to my bank account, as an automatic withdrawal. The agent I spoke to said that this was a 6-month only contract, and that I should contact Ancestry to find out if they have another special going towards the end of my contract.
However, as of today, my bank account has not been charged, and I am still listed as a guest on the website!
Can you please check this out and let me know if there is something wrong other than a delay in my order?

Ancestry's "customer service" and "tech support" are absolutely useless. It you have a problem, they're happy to either blame it on you or recite platitudes, but that's about all the action you'll ever get from them. I suggest filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
