My sister and I are identical twins. We both took the Ancestry DNA test and they came back completely different, which is pretty much impossible. Her results showed Western European and Irish/English, which is pretty much correct. Mine should have been identical. My...

Ancestry - I think it's a scam

Ancestry

My neice who spend all her time on ancestry.com perform a test which indicated she was related to our family. The only problem is the fact that she was adopted from another country. Leads me to believe something is not right with this company and its dna test.

Mine came back English and Irish. Then it said 18% other regions. Maybe they will send me 18% of my money back. Won't hold my breath on that happening.

I got kits for my family members for Christmas. Two of the results have come back and are so vague that they are meaningless. My father in law was told he's 100% European Jewish - no country or region. Just that he's Jewish. My mother's results don't make any sense and...

I can trace my ancestry back to the early 1400s and when I submitted my DNA sample without "filling out my tree" I received results that were impossible. The explanation is that they use averages typical of certain types to make assumptions when providing your "Pie...
