My sister and I are identical twins. We both took the Ancestry DNA test and they came back completely different, which is pretty much impossible. Her results showed Western European and Irish/English, which is pretty much correct. Mine should have been identical. My...

WOWSERS!... I agree ...there is something mighty suspicious going with your DNA results......especially when you are identical twins. I would be looking into this and get some...

I know for a fact that I am half Native American. My Grandfather was paid by the US Government $13,000 during the Great Depression for being Native American. My second Great Grandmother was full blood Cherokee & was driven to Oklahoma with her tribe. I even know the...

Ancestry DNA is not a scam! It basically confirmed what I already knew about many of my ancestors and gave me new information that I was able to confirm through research. They...

The price they charge you for research is not worth it anymore. I've been a member for years. And it was so much easier before they change the program. Now they make you look through 20,000 or 30,000 people before you can get to your personal person even when you have given all the information you have

Ancestry is a gimmick to me and it's really sad how they all are switchboards who deals with the government not only for family background but criminal about yourself and your family. Want to delete all of my ancestry entirely from there internet. To lie and light the leaf green on a false misspelled name is truly a gimmick

Just purchased and it is NOTHING like advertised, in fact the free version in library was as good. I don't need Ancestry to look up family on old census, but that is about all it provides. It dies not fill names as it claims on tv ad. Want my mobey back.

I had a simple question I wanted to ask Ancestry about something they sent me, so I had to search for their phone number this morning and finally something I could use (their customer service number is not prominent on their website if there at all). I was on hold for...

The results are very vague. I can't download the DNA information even when clicking on the link in the email they send you. When you try to contact them from their website, that link also doesn't work. Basically, my conclusion is they suck money from people. Give them...

I got kits for my family members for Christmas. Two of the results have come back and are so vague that they are meaningless. My father in law was told he's 100% European Jewish - no country or region. Just that he's Jewish. My mother's results don't make any sense and...

Yep! I agree.....It's best to do multiple tests with different groups. Best to get facts and proof of who you really are :) That is all any of us deserve.

I can trace my ancestry back to the early 1400s and when I submitted my DNA sample without "filling out my tree" I received results that were impossible. The explanation is that they use averages typical of certain types to make assumptions when providing your "Pie...
