I was so excited to do ancestrydna. I've always known I was mixed European, but wanted a more precise breakdown. My mother was born in the Netherlands and my father's parents were born in Poland and Russia. We do have Jewish blood, but I do not consider that an...

I am outraged by poor customer service, and lack of proper management of their DNA promotion. I have been a member for two years (paying nearly $22 per month for my membership) and this past January I paid for a DNA profile (My father paid actually as a gift to me. He...

Ancestry - I think it's a scam

Ancestry

My neice who spend all her time on ancestry.com perform a test which indicated she was related to our family. The only problem is the fact that she was adopted from another country. Leads me to believe something is not right with this company and its dna test.

Mine came back English and Irish. Then it said 18% other regions. Maybe they will send me 18% of my money back. Won't hold my breath on that happening.

After a couple phone calls to Ancestry where I waited on hold forever with nobody answering, the web site not giving me the option to cancel my account (as the help page said I could), I just cancelled my credit card as the only way to get rid of the monthly charge....

OH yeah! On August 8 I requested my kit from AncestryDNA -- which I received much sooner than I thought I would. I followed all the instructions correctly, but the *** blue solution did not go all the way down. About 1/4 of it still remained (it's still there). Spent...

I have had two experiences with Ancestry.Com and both were abysmal to the point of fraudulent. The first was a family tree. I wanted information on my father's family. Not only was there no information on his family, there was no information on my father: no records on...
